Account deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of an EtchDeck account, what is disabled immediately, the 7-day recovery window, later deletion, and Apple subscription handling.
If you cannot sign in, email support from the registered address when possible. Identity verification may be required before a request is acted on.
Sign in, open Account settings, choose Delete account, request an email verification code, then enter the code, current password, and risk confirmation. This is the direct self-service path for deleting the account and associated data.
Email [email protected] and clearly request deletion of the EtchDeck account and associated data. Use the registered email address when possible and do not send your password or API Key. EtchDeck may request reasonable identity verification before processing the request.
After a successful request, EtchDeck immediately deactivates the account and revokes login tokens, browser-extension API Keys, and unused email codes. Web and App clear their local authenticated state and return to sign-in.
For 7 days, the account can be restored by registering again with the same email address and a valid email code. Confirming recovery cancels deletion, keeps existing cards, review history, language and settings, and applies the newly entered password.
After the recovery window, a scheduled process physically deletes eligible online account and business data. Request logs and backups expire or are overwritten under limited operational retention cycles; backup copies are not edited row by row and may remain until the applicable cycle ends. Limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, disputes, or legal obligations.
Deleting an EtchDeck account does not cancel an Apple auto-renewable subscription. Before deletion, manage or cancel the subscription in Apple Account settings. Apple may continue billing until cancellation there and retains purchase records under Apple’s policies. For help, contact [email protected].
